Beauty retail isn’t evolving along a single path—it’s being reshaped by fundamentally different models of scale, curation, and consumer trust.
From Sally Beauty’s expansive, pro-driven mass network, to the heritage authority of C.O. Bigelow, to Bloomingdale’s luxury lens on discovery and experience, each approach is redefining how brands reach customers—and what it takes to win.
This conversation convenes senior leaders from all three to unpack how they are thinking about assortment, storytelling, and loyalty in a rapidly shifting landscape. How are customers discovering new products today—and where does that discovery actually translate to sell-through? What drives repeat purchase in each environment? And what do brands need to understand to successfully partner—and scale—within these distinct models?
This isn’t a comparison of channels—it’s a candid look at the realities of selling into them, from the people who decide what gets on shelf, gets supported, and ultimately gets sold.
